I have been reading a book about the Edmund Fitzgerald, and I was interested to see that the champagne bottle did not break at its christening. Numerous other type occurrences with that ship.
Sailors are notoriously superstitious, which is what made me think of this.

(14,944 posts)He stepped off the curb without looking both ways. He had minor injuries, she flew off over the handlebars and was more seriously injured. Looking both ways all the time is just plain smart.
