I walked here from the other end of the house.
It took about 20 seconds.
I know I came here for a reason.
But now I can't remember what it was.

I walk back to the den and sit down.
OK, I was sitting here when I needed to go to the kitchen.
I think.
I quit thinking.
I play a game of solitaire on the computer.

FLASH!
I wanted to thaw a pound of ground beef for marinara sauce tonight.
I walk back to the kitchen thinking "ground beef-ground beef-ground beef" all the way.

is just another stage of life not unlike all the others. From infant to toddler to child to brat to tween to teen to young adult to adult to middle age adult to whatever 50 something is now to that elder stage I am at presently and further all seen to have melded into who I am and always have been--right here right now.
To all you youngers who may be tempted to allow ageism to color your perceptions of those of elder age; may you live as long.
NO MATTER where you find yourself, at any place-at any time, there you are.

I thought nap time was punishment. Now it's like, oh, did I doze off? What happened on Castle?

"Did you find everything?"
"Probably not. But I did get some things I didn't know I needed. Thanks for asking."
