The Great Holiday Baking Show (aka The Great British Bake-Off)

Anybody watching this tonight. (west coast, it's on channel 7 at 10 pm).

It's just a 4 part baking competition leading up to Christmas.

The Great British Bake Off is HUGE in the UK. One of the British judges, Mary Berry will be one of the judges in this. She is tough.

persona non grata because last time they tried the show in the U.S. he had an affair with one of the other judges.

I didn't know that. Just the same, it's Mel and Sue I really miss. I love them, especially Sue.

But there were too many commercials.
I was glad it was filmed in the same place

The British version is such fun.

That winning gingerbread construction was amazing.

in the UK shows like Bake-Off and Masterchef are more difficult than the US versions and the UK shows don't give out money or prizes. All you get is the title.

Alas, the last one I was was described as "series finale". Now, a version of it is on national TV. It won't be the same.
