Police: Intoxicated woman crashed stolen beer truck into Limerick barn

LIMERICK, Maine — The York County Sheriff’s Office said an intoxicated 19-year-old woman stole an Angry Orchard truck in Portland and crashed it into a barn on Route 160 in Limerick Tuesday.

Around 11:30 a.m., the York County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a large white “box truck” being driven erratically on Route 5 in Waterboro.

The truck was described as a “beer truck” and advertised Angry Orchard on the sides and back. The caller said the truck was weaving from side-to-side and had gone into the shoulder of the road.

Deputies intercepted the vehicle near Lakeside Market in East Waterboro. Officials said the truck was passing several cars in a no pass zone.
