(56,829 posts)3. I've never bought movie tickets more than a day in advance before
however, there were so many reports of theaters selling out that I bought tickets for 12/17 at 7pm or 8pm, I believe.

(12,132 posts)4. my friend ordered 6 tickets the day they went on sale.
he plans to sell a couple of them for enough to pay for his and get popcorn and drinks. Heck, he might even make enough for a box of Goobers!
I haven't picked my date yet so I might end up having to wait a good little while before I see it.

(22,000 posts)5. It's opening here in Korea on the 17th and I heard that some theaters in Seoul
are already selling out. Unfortunately the movie will only be here for about 10 days due to government quota laws. I asked my wife to buy tickets for a week from Saturday so we can go see it together.
