'Worst sketch in history' released to nab suspect

Finding suspects is hard enough for police, but it's even more difficult when given a comically bad sketch to follow.

So it was for Miami-Dade Police searching for DeAndre Charles, 15, of North Miami Beach in connection for a 2014 murder of Rabbi Joseph Raksin, CBS Miami reports.

Their problem? The witness sketch looked more like a Muppet than Charles. BuzzFeed called the sketch, which was drawn by a witness and given to police, “the worst sketch in history” and compared it to other lopsided works of art.

The case started in North Miami Beach in 2014 when Raksin was shot and killed walking to a synagogue. CBS Miami reports that police raided the Charles’ home and said they found evidence linking to DeAndre, an accusation his family says is incorrect.
