1. I finally got around to listening to it last night

I bought it (well the digital download, I don't do CDs) on the day of the release. But I didn't bother listening to it mainly because of a serious Led Zeppelin kick. Bowie's birthday happens to fall on the day before Jimmy Page's birthday. So for me, I'm already starting in on all the great LZ songs that feature amazing JP guitar solos. So I pretty much spent that entire weekend in a Zeppelin haze.

Since Bowie's death I just couldn't get around to listening to it because in the end, it was his final gift to all his fans. (I still haven't watched the Lazerus video, just would be too depressing right now). But last night I did finally put it on and it's really good. Sure it's not like some of the legendary albums of his heydays but it's one of those albums you really need to listen to from start to finish to really appreciate it.

I will probably get the vinyl since I do still collect vinyl and this is one I want on that format.

2. I have ordered the CD. Tempted to restart vinyl listening with this one.
