We need new a group that will hopefully make us laugh or remember with fondness. If you agree, join in and post your thoughts on this posting or the other one.

We need a diversion.

2. Many of us are pre-baby boomers. Many of them don't even know about some of the great old stuff.

My proposal would be for all old timers and not involve politics except as a bit of nostalgia.

I'm glad you clarified the purpose. At first, I thought you were talking about a group for people who have been on DU for a long time. I was thinking that might turn meta-ish.
