2. You do know when you starve yourself

your body stores its fat because it is not sure when the next meal will occur.

This is only my observation, but the thinnest people in my company had a drawer full of snacks...BUT there were only two cookies missing, and two crackers missing from the packs.

They ate a LITTLE all day...each time you eat your metabolism increases...eating a little often is better than starving.

The point being eating a LITTLE. Hell I eat the entire pack of crackers, and I'm not fat, but I ain't slim by any measure.

3. I don't starve myself on diet days. I just eat 400 to 500 calories. Then the next day I eat

normally and the day after that too. It works because you don't starve yourself for days on end. So you never go into that starvation mode. It is hard to find a way to lose weight that I can master. This works for me.

Sounds like you do on your diet days, what I found the skinny people do... eat a little at a time..which keeps up the metabolism.

But often does not mean gorging...a little will do it better than a lot....and can satisfy a hungry appetite.

When you starve your body it stores up fat...when you eat you burn calories...eating is better for weight loss than starving...taken small amounts of low to medium calories and on occasion high calorie foods will make you lose weight better and keep it off if you stick to eating good food often

The fattest people on earth diet...the slimmest eat!

What to you think about a two weeks on, two weeks off approach. How long did it take you to do the 10 lbs? I want to take off 20 lbs. Just took off about 6 lbs eating more vegetables and doing walking.

9. No. You need to do one day fast, 2 or 3 days normal. Otherwise your body will

go into starvation mode and hold onto all your pounds in the two weeks you are fasting. This way, within a day you are back to normal. I've actually read some like diets that suggest you overeat on the normal days. Which I don't do. Or try not to. I lost a pound a week by fasting on day 4 and days 7 or the week. Same days every week. You can look up online how to do it. Called the fast diet. Good luck. I have 100 pounds to lose. I just want to be healthy, not thin.

10. OK Thanks for the tips.

I meant to do the regular/fast schedule for two weeks and then two weeks off. Seems as if that would be possible. Fasting days 4 and 7 and regular between and then a week of regular and then the fasting days 4 and 7 again -- if you lost a pound a week -- and I assume you felt good -- maybe just do the fasting/regular schedule for ten weeks. And then a break and then do it again.

It sounds as if I am babbling but actually I am trying to get my head wrapped around this idea. Seems so sensible.

Thank you for your patience!

it in mind that I can take another break from the diet in a few months. That makes it more palatable. Right you are.

14. Eat all day...an apple, two crackers, a bannana

a few leafs of lettuce, half a chocolate bar, 15 chips of your choice. Just give yourself an hour between each to give your metabolism time to ingest your food intake

Eating boosts your metabolism...starving actually creates fat...eat all day in reasonable foods...feel better and not starved and lose weight at the same time!
