She was underweight, malnourished, lethargic, wouldn't make eye contact and she had tested positive for amphetamines when she was born.

Now she's a happy, healthy and very intelligent little toddler.

Being a foster parent is a lot of work but it is very rewarding!

The hard part is coming up though as the little tyke will be returning to her mother, who has made great strides in turning her life around, in a few months.

But I know that would be the super-hard part. I have a friend who had a baby that long and the outcome wasn't as good but that baby had a really good start when he was with her.
