Related: Culture Forums, Support ForumsMy husband just asked if it was too early to get his pajamas on...
It's still daylight, it's not 7pm yet... etc... he had plenty of excuses why it wasn't pajama time. My response, "You're a grown up, do whatever the hell you want." Jammies on and waiting for puck drop.

(6,696 posts)Yes even if your mother in law calls last minute to say she's coming over to bring her son some cookies the day after chemo.
Me and the Mr. were both in our jammies unashamed. In fact is was 4pm and I never did brush my hair.
We did change into clean jammies before getting back in the bed the 2nd night. We aren't COMPLETE heathens.

(12,132 posts)I'm not sitting around all evening in Dockers or whatever I wore to work. I don't have any pajamas but I put on thin "athletic"* shorts with a nice stretchy waistband.
*"Athletic" lol. IF you mean the athleticism required to get up and grab a beer I guess.
And that's only for as along as my daughter is up. As soon as she goes to bed I get REALLY comfortable. (She's 25 and knows better than to come out after I've gotten comfortable). (And that's her rule, not mine. I couldn't possible give a shit but she seems to think it's gross lol.)(I think my wife encourages her to stay with us so I don't stay buck nekkid 24/7)

(11,773 posts)that wouldn't happen. He was raised in Dallas, and his family were devote Catholic and he went through the Jesuit school system; graduate of MSU and Northeastern. He's not a practicing Catholic these days, but he is still mindful of his appearance (similar to school uniform for office-casual), no matter the circumstance.
