After watching it with amazement and horror, I need a drink anyway. LOL

but love the fact that it gently grabs and releases - so cool and especially as spiders are doing their part, may as well let 'em do it outside where there is more to catch

(958 posts)I can catch the little critters indoors and then take them outside where I can safely stomp on them without leaving a greasy stain on the wall paint.

Take a swipe at 'em and they fly away. Sometimes you don't see where they go and you end up looking like Elmer Fudd with a shot gun and saying, "Be verwy quiet. I'm hunting woaches."
You can't sleep until you find the filthy bastard. You know it's there, watching you.

(49,047 posts)What's the point of killing a spider? No point! Especially after doing the right thing (removing it alive from human premises).
Why take pleasure in killing ("stomp" ?
Spiders beneficially kill nasty insects like mosquitos.

(958 posts)When a palmetto bug is squashed, it makes a mess. They can eat through the wrapper on a loaf of bread and get inside. Most spiders run from palmetto bugs.

(14,881 posts)I hate trying to catch them inside and run them outside. Always afraid it will climb off the paper I chase it onto and bite me or something!
Like keeping them at arms length+ and getting them securely and safely for everybody outside where they belong!
