Another bizarre dream.

It started out very normal. I had fish from a small aquarium that I wanted to incorporate in a bigger aquarium, thinking they would have more space. The bigger aquarium looked like fish heaven, though it looked more like a rocky reef. It was nearly devoid of fish. However, once I put the small tropicals in the big tank, huge ugly creatures began to pour out of the crevices of the rocks. Each was a unique creature. Some looked like stone fish, others were centipede-like, and still others walked on two feet.

I expected the worst and braced to see some of my fish turn into bait fish, but instead, I heard a conversation between the denizens of the tank. They all tried to figure out how to live in harmony and decided that they would impose a counter-clock swim pattern in the tank to make the most of the space they had. And then, they looked at me and took the next option, demanding to be set free. They began to form into an army and a couple of them got all Hitlerish in their demands. They definitely had an aggressive nature.

The next thing I know, they had integrated into the world. I was walking on the sidewalk and could recognize them in their humanlike form, but they were still awkward in their movements. They still hadn't captured all the nuances. For example, their clothing looked a lot like the dark rough skins they had when they were aquatic animals.

I could tell that this was an adjustment period for them. They were in awe of their new world and were trying hard to fit in. But I couldn't tell if this adjustment period was just the beginning of something that would escalate. I suspect that in the future, there would be trouble.

I have a recurring theme in dreams. The dreams themselves look different, but the theme is always not being able to get anything done. I just had one like that a little bit ago while I was napping.

They say dreams are about either something you wish would happen, something that has happened, or something that you are afraid is going to happen. I find that that explains a lot of mine, but some of them, like yours above, don't seem to fit nicely into those explanations.

I suspect it influenced the direction of the dream.

I was in my parents minivan that they sold about a year ago and we were being followed really closely by some asshole driving really aggressively. He got closer and it was obvious this was a Trump supporter and that he even had a personalized license plate advertising his love of The Donald.
