It is a noble profession. I wanted to be a nurse when I was younger. They don't get enough respect from some people.

Mom was a RN, a Navy Nurse in WWII, and worked pediatrics for years. She was an amazing woman in her prime. Now she has to rely on other, less well trained, nurses and aides to care for her - and she HATES it. She still wants to be the one in charge - once a nurse, always a nurse!
