So a couple of barn swallows built a nest in the corner of my front porch

Here is the Momma swallow guarding her nest

She must have something to hide ...

What could it be? ...

They hatch in 14 - 16 days

Here they go!

The perspective can only be judged by the size of the tiny egg shell

The only way I can get a picture of the chicks is to hold my cellphone in the narrow space over the nest when the Momma leaves

Here is yesterday

He will even approach us but usually his comfort zone is 5 - 10 feet. Melodie has gotten him to eat out her hand once ... born twice.

He want to be friends ... or more likely be fed ... but he is still pretty skittish.
