so far,
1. Panning for emeralds at a mine in NC,
2. Visiting Andy Griffiths home town where they have a Barney Fife lookalike who will drive you around in an old squad car,
3. Eating at a pub with supposedly the best Elvis impersonator around.
4. Maybe Trump winery and spit the wine out?
Any ideas?

The real reason to pull over is to see the General Lee and Cooter's tow truck! They also have a gift shop but it was not open when I visited. Just randomly on the side of the road, so I had to do a U turn for pictures!

Geraci was reportedly impressed by the fiberglass dinosaurs at a putt-putt golf course in Florida, and reasoned that prehistoric monsters would work just as well outside of his Rebel Corner gift shop in Virginia.
White Post used to have a highly regarded shop where old cars were restored. I don't know if it's still there.
I saw my first Tucker there.
Yeah, they're still there: White Post Restorations

Enema Collection
One Fleet Enema package and a pamphlet are all that are on display at the Lynchburg Museum. But it is a great museum anyway. However, if you're only looking for enema paraphernalia, you'll be disappointed.

(23,340 posts)South of the Border is an attraction on Interstate 95 and US Highway 301/501 in Dillon, South Carolina, just south of Rowland, North Carolina. It is so named because it is just south of the border between North Carolina and South Carolina. The rest area contains restaurants, gas stations, and a motel, and truck stop as well as a small amusement park, shopping and fireworks. Its mascot is Pedro, a caricature of a Mexican bandido.
