Yikes, where did you hear that? They are terriers, even though they are in the Toy group. They do bark a lot. Don't let that stop you though, if you get one from a responsible breeder who cares about health and temperament, they're a great breed! Lots of fun!

since I posted this on Sunday...I've heard that pup bark every day since and I just chuckle at myself for not realizing that it's much warmer now and of course, I'd hear it bark. ha ha. I even heard it barking inside the house but the kids are out of school now. They are adorable looking pups.

31. All of them are wonderful, as always.

I especially like the one of the parrots with their babies in the nest.

This is the eight year in a row that I have a pair of nesting swallows in the nest that was built on the overhang outside my front door the year I moved in. Last year the swallows build a second nest, and now they treat it like a two room apartment. At night one is in the new nest, presumably the female, and the other, presumably the male, is in the old nest, which has gotten quite shabby, I'll admit.

The only drawback is that I have bird poop piling up in front of my door for several months, but it's a small price to pay.

Things are doing fine. Hope it's fine for you as well.

Retired a year and a half ago, then was begged to come to work for the accountant that we used....but I am only doing it part time and I pick the days/hours, so all is good. And it sure felt great to be wanted very badly. Great for my ego.

I remember you had retired before you wanted to... and had been looking for some part time work. Great that it came from a place where you knew the work and have flexibility!

How are your kitties? Sammy and the new(ish) girl whose name I've blanked on?

The work was from a place where I knew the people, but the work was totally new. I didn't know the restaurant business, and I didn't know the accounting software, and work was back up months. But all is going well now...although I was sorry to have accepted that job for a while.

Sammy is great, healthy and loving. Leila (aka Leaky Kitty) has problems. She was shot as a kitten and it did permanent damage to her nerves in the back and abdomen. And that means that she leaks urine when she is soundly sleeping and there is nothing that can be done able it. it took a while and lots of testing to determine that it is permanent. She is on a dog medicine to control incontinence, and it does help a bit, but I just have to keep training pads all over every surface that she sleeps on. You deal with it. She is still a little skittish (and giving her meds twice a day, every day, doesn't help), but she is getting better. Now she usually wants to be in the same room as I am in, and that is progress.
