One of the best concerts I've seen EVER - Weird Al Yankovic

He performed here in Wilmington the other day and honestly, didn't think much of it at first but had a chance to see it.

I walked away a HUGE Weird Al Yankovic fan. If you have a chance to see this guy in concert - GO!! And take your kids because it's a kid friendly show but something adults can enjoy just as much.

It wasn't just that he did his series of classic hits like 'I Lost on Jeopardy' and 'Eat it' but he has some great new songs out there too like 'Word Crimes' (a much improved version of Robin Thicke's 'Blurred Lines') and 'Foil' (based on Lorde's 'Royal'), but he performed all these hits in costume too! Between songs there would be a 5 minute bit of Yankovic related videos and then he'd do the next set of songs.

I not only laughed my ass off but I was dancing too!

Here are some videos of his recent songs

His band did this setup where they setup the stage like something out of an episode of 'MTV Unplugged' then they did it in a swing manner along with several other classic songs.

I was in the lobby of the DeVos Performance Hall with my wife, eldest stepson, daughter-in-law and grandson when I saw the poster.

he performed "The Saga Begins", and a company of stormtroopers from the local chapter of the 501st Legion joined him on stage, and did a Rockettes' style kick-line. It was hilarious!

His show is one of the best I've ever seen. I didn't get to see him on this tour because I was going to another concert that night (Twenty One Pilots), but I did catch his show at the Greek Theater and it was unbelievable. Weird Al TV is the best!
