Bald Eagle swimming to shore with a Coot for lunch..Immature Eagle takes Coot, Kelowna BC

Published on Feb 2, 2013
On January 30, 2013, a bald eagle slammed into the water, in front of our home on Okanagan Lake, Kelowna, BC Canada. He had caught a coot for lunch. After a couple of tries to takeoff (fly) he was unable to and decided to "swim" to shore. The eagle made it to shore, started to have lunch, then an immature eagle showed up to ruin his day and take his lunch! All of that hard swimming to have his lunch taken away.

The compound word is the swimming stroke; the other one not so much.
