(16,245 posts)It was horrible. The bathroom had orange and green carpeting in it. One bedroom had green and white striped wallpaper. The stripes were vertical and it was dizzying to stay in there.

Full disclosure: I had orange and yellow shag carpeting from Sears. I was late to that fashion scene, as I did not buy it until fall 1976. It was their cheapest grade. I probably paid $19.99 for a room-size rug, about 8 feet by 10 feet, maybe.
