...and we're not way up, in Vermont or New Hampshire...this is suburban CT--Orange--not four blocks from the Post Road. I watched him for awhile, then he noticed me and went into the woods. Lovely animal! So on top of deer, turkeys, possums, a family of albino skunks, hawks, an occasional fox and rabbit, a very occasional eagle, and--once--a coyote, we have a bobcat. The more, the merrier...

Foxes are around, but really, really hard to spot.

Foxes, skunks, coyote, deer, possums - they'll come right up and peek in the patio door.
Hawks circling above and owls perched on our chimney. Quails on the fence. Hummies in the garden.
Occasional rattlesnakes, but they don't bother me. Spiders, on the other hand...

I was up close to a caged bobcat and those damn things are as big as a pitbull. Got a nasty growl too.
