Was there much damage to your vehicle? The insurance hassles are another pain.

Distracted driving is a real problem.

Ihad to take a week off work and learn about the delights of something called Soma.
Bed rest....the bed was upstairs and the bathroom was down stairs and the Soma made noodles of my legs both ways.

I wish you a speedy recovery.

This is not a joke. I was having some horrible back pain two years ago, and while in London, I met up with a colleague from Brazil who pulled a pink pill out of his jacket, and told me to take one before I went to bed. I did, and the next morning, my back pain was not only completely gone, it never came back!!! I am not kidding. *poof* it disappeared. I was seeing a chiropractor for the first time in my life at the time. I had seen him a few days before, and he was heating me up, massaging, doing what chiropractors do. I went in to him the next Monday, and he asked how I was doing, and I said great, no more complaints. He thought I was joking, and felt around my lower back and was dumbstruck. "How the f*** did you do THAT?" he asked. All tension had completely disappeared.

I gave a few to some friends who were having muscle-tension-related back pain, and they had similar results.

I got a scan of the ingredients to show to a few doctors I knew to make sure the pills didn't contain some forbidden Amazonian exotic herbs or toxic ingredients, and indeed they didn't. It was all standard stuff including muscle relaxants and standard pain killers. It must have been the proportions of the mixture, because my doctor friends couldn't explain why these pills worked where nothing else did.

The pill is called "Tandrilax," and my colleague said it is available over the counter in Brazil for about $30 for a package of 20 pills.

It's a combination of

Soma 125 mg (this is a low dose)

Cambia 50 mg (a prescription NSAID usually prescribed for migraines and arthritis)

Acetominophen 300 mg + caffeine (Exedrin Tension Headache)

Please consider getting PT. You really don't want this to be an issue as you move on through life.

I have to go to the States for a week starting Oct. 13, and I can send you a couple of Tandrilax pills from my office in Dallas if you want. PM me with an address if you want to give it a try.

...a friend gave me some prescription Motrin. That and half a joint with some beers helped out. It either killd the pain or (in the words of one MD) make me not give a shit.
