MSNBC viewers - do Liberty Mutual commercials make you want to scream?

They're on all the time.

I especially detest the one where a woman tells you to read page (whatever) of your policy and says "blah-blah-blah-blah-blah-blah-blah".

It makes me stabby.

1. Yes. They're supposed to be humorous, but come off talking down to us.

The one with the couple where the wife is putting down her husband for 'clipping' a food truck is the worst.

You just know if that was a RL couple that poor guy would be getting blamed for everything that went wrong in their marriage.

2. They are all annoying.

I have seen the one about "you called it Brad, you loved Brad" that I can say it in unison with the actor!

7. I always mute the sound when that annoying ad comes on.

3. I wonder how many consumers fall for the gimmick of not being penalized for a first accident.

They kind of throw away a line about having their (something) coverage, and I wonder how much you would have pay in premiums over and above basic coverage.

4. I hate all car insurance ads.

They, along with ads for prescription meds, seem to comprise 90% of the ads on TV today.

8. You are so right. I read recently that the AMA (I think)

wanted to ban pharma ads on TV.

We're paying for this crap. And we're supposed to go to our trusted doctor and tell him/her that we want to know about *fdsffsdfsdfsd* for our (insert medical condition here).

Maybe there's a core audience that enjoys hearing the term "erectile dysfunction" while watching the news.

5. I've caught that, probably during a live football game

Mega annoying. Almost as annoying as those damn Peyton Manning ones for DirecTV.

I DVR 90% of what I watch so I can "zap" the commercials.

I mean, who among you doesn't realize that if you have to use your insurance because of some sort of accident, the insurance company is going to jack up your rates? Hell, that's the way insurance works.

She is idiotic - as if reading a 10 page insurance policy to know what you're getting into is just too hard. And those big words! Who can understand them?
