Most exciting game in the world

Have a break from politics this weekend and tune into the Australian Rules football final, played here in Melbourne, Aus. at 2pm Saturday 1 October.

There's a small-ish following in the USA holding parties to watch the grand final. https://usafl.com/news/20160915/2016-afl-grand-final-viewing-parties

As a taster, here's some season highlights from a couple of years ago. Contrary to popular belief, there ARE rules!

Can't believe the Bulldogs made it from 7th, though I'm a bit tired of all the hype the media are generating about them. Still hope they win, though wouldn't mind a Sydney win as it'd be a nice comeback for Franklin after his issues last year.

I'm in Gippsland, economic refugee from the city.

A gang of us are getting together this arvo to watch the match, drink like crazy and eat party pies. Without exception, barracking for the Bulldogs as their last Premiership was the year when most of us were born.

Haven't really paid much attention to the footy hype - too busy watching the Trumpwreck.
