I plan to mail them to my son and it's recommended to cover the caramel in nuts to prevent it from sticking to the cellophane.
I think I'm going to make some with honey roasted peanuts and others with hazelnut.

The mini caramel apple project turned too gooey to mail. I probably should have put the finished stick straight into the freezer to chill.
