By cold, I mean anything under 53 degrees.
I'm from the South and have never lived north of Georgia. My blood is way too thin to handle cold weather. Also I have a condition where my brain feels anything cool and sends the message to my body that I'm about to freeze to death and it redirects all my blood into my core. My hands turn white then purple and my feet turn the blueish color of a corpse that's been found three days post mortem. (It's called Raynauds and I have a severe form)
So who else hates the cold?

(17,045 posts)I love it when our first "cold" front comes in!
Under a freeze warning tonight which is perfectly fine for me. I'll just get comfy with a few blankies and my dogs!

(28,394 posts)I hate heat and humidity. It was in the 70s here yesterday.... too hot for late November. I was digging out my shorts and tank tops!

(115,735 posts)When it gets cold you just wear more clothes - no big deal (of course, having Reynaud's is a different matter). When it's hot, especially when it's humid, I'm absolutely miserable and can barely function at all. Fortunately I live in Minnesota. I don't think I could stand to live any farther south than the Iowa border.

(46,179 posts)I don't like anything warmer than the 70s, and above 80s is hell.
AND I also don't like humidity.
Dry and cool...50s - 60s during the day, 20s - 30s at night; that's my ideal.
