Potential bad scene at the Micky D's this morning.
I work nights and I rolled into Micky D's to grab something after work at about 5:30 this morning. I had to use the bathroom so I went inside. I came out of the bathroom and saw three young guys at the counter. Two of them looked like they were okay, but the third looked like he was fucked up out of his gourd. I mean this guy was unconscious on his feet. He had a bunch of scary looking facial tattoos as well. The scene just looked like it was going to be bad news.
I stood behind these guys while Mr. Scary was trying to order. The manager at the counter seemed pissed off and frightened at the same time. She was trying to work with the guy, but he was really messed up.
I decided to leave and go to the grocery store for some cereal instead. I didn't want to get caught up in whatever might happen at the fast food joint. As I was shopping for the cereal, it occurred to me that, minus the facial tattoos, I'd been in that guy's shoes before...on several occasions. I was young and stupid and it got me into some serious trouble a couple of times.
I hope those guys made it home okay.
