If you're a man, you can look as unattractive and disheveled as you wish. People will look past your appearance and recognize your genius. Indeed, the weirder you look and act, the more likely people will be to see you as a genius. If you're a woman, you can be a genius, but if you look disheveled, you will be written off as a crazy old woman. And if you look presentable, no one will think you're a genius because everyone knows geniuses are too busy with deep thoughts to pay any attention to their appearance.

I wish people would realize how much we allow gender-based stereotypes to color the way we see people.
