look at it as taking a step to being fixed, to feeling better

before taking meds.

Get off the pain meds as soon as you can--switch to whatever doc recommends as step down from narcotics--
but give yourself a couple of days before trying to do that.

Good luck! Hope you have a speedy recovery after successful repair surgery.

have gone from one painkiller every 4 hours to one half a painkiller every 4 hrs skippinng the 2 a.m. feeding altogether.

dont see the doc for 8 more days, so i'm not sure what i should be looking for
