I have a colleague whose son went to an all boys high school in the city. He was involved in the drama productions, and his mom was a frequent chaperon at play rehearsals. The female roles were filled by the girls at a city sister school.
"You're going to be a big star some day, Stephanie," is what my friend would say to one young singer any time she heard her rehearse or saw her perform.
You can catch Stephanie tonight during the halftime show on the Super Bowl. She's the headliner.

(531 posts)needless to say I hope the Falcons wipe the field with their asses.
And good on Lady Gaga I have always been jealous her generation got her and mine got Madonna who is not near as talented.

(2,302 posts)She took care of my niece's best friend when she (Stephanie) was in high school. The mom told me they would have tons of fun playing dress-up! The families were friendly, and the mom attended several social gatherings with the Italian family club the Germanottas belonged to.

(86,646 posts)since I didn't have access to much media then, I was on the road a lot back then and don't have teevee. I have seen her on a few video things and caught part of her performance on the Victoria Secret fashion show not too long ago... I like her and her outrageous costumes because she's very talented and that's not all there is to her like Madonna. She makes Madonna look like a Kmart blue light special.
