Captain Morgan was on a chest

of drawers and knocked a vase full of flowers off. Smashed it into little itty bitty pieces. Why do cat's always break something and then sniff about in the mess as if to say "this is interesting - how did that happen?". A dog would have been so guilty it would have been hiding or shaking. I don't really blame my cat. It was an accident waiting to happen but what is up with cats not taking ownership?

has a little goatee. So I kept the name. Then I found out recently the real captain was a slave owner. I assumed Pirates were classless and not racist. So now I call him "Bud" to his face.

the politics of Budweiser!!! Bud comes from the Nova Scotian habit of calling any character 'buddy'. Right in the middle of the newspaper if they are describing a character they will say "then buddy went through the drive through on his horse and it led to a police chase". That is where Bud comes from.

I have three that have broken 2 floor lamps. I have used fishing line to keep them from knocking over the Christmas tree. When they do something like that they look at me like it's my fault.

The poly-dactyl tortie is a Republican. Joe, the big pushy boy, is a Republican. Leah, who looks like a black and white jelly bean, does a great deal of protesting and is definitely a Democrat.

Joe is a bit of a bully. He's kind of old and white like me so I guess that fits. The jelly bean is sneaky and steals a mouthful of food at a time and runs away from the others to eat. The mommy and daughter striped pair are usually pleasant but purr way too much. Another is a bit crazy but she's rather special. The tortie loves everyone including Joe the bully who loves her a lot. Another has epilepsy and gets along well with most of them especially the crazy one.

Given the right situation any of them will steal from the others but we try to govern fairly and see that everyone is okay.
