The Huntley-Brinkley Report theme for years.

Also notably used by Stanley Kubrick in A Clockwork Orange.

The rhythmic structure is incredible and the juxtaposition of the scherzo to the second movement turns the entire work on its side.

It is one of the things that make the ninth such an incredible opus.

I played the Ode To Joy in one of my very early piano books and never forgot it. Now as a symphony musician I can say I have performed the entire symphony 3 times, maybe 4...getting old. It is gruelling but oh so worth it. I cry frequently during the piece. So moving.
