I can't listen to "Without her" because it would depress me so much. But I had fond memories of loving the theme from "Arthur."
He was gifted and talented. I'm so sorry the booze got him.
Sad loss.

In fact, I was singing it yesterday!

(28,349 posts)There's so much to love about Harry.
My favorite LP has always been "A Little Touch of Schmilsson in the Night". But then, I suppose, I'm a sucker for the tunes of yesteryear.
My favorite of all favorites is "Moonbeam".
One summer, back in the early 70s, on cassette, I tape recorded "Moonbeam" over and over. I'd go to sleep at night, play the tape so I all I heard was "Moonbeam" again & again until I drifted off to sleep.
Dunno why I did that, I guess it was Harry's soothing voice. Who knows? Man, he could sing and with range, to boot.
I think of him as a very talented & imaginative man who fought the "demons" with long nights of drugs & booze. How I wish he had survived because I believe he had a treasure-full of untapped magic to give us all. Think of what we've missed.
