Surprised that Lounge-teers aren't watching "Feud" Bette/Joan by LANGE/SARANDON on FX

Into the 3rd episode, starting in a half hour. Not camp, surprisingly showing them as almost humans. As for SARANDON, her politics third way crap has been irritating for years, but I'll tolerate her for this:

Well, in the '90s when I expected to be appreciated as a Lib male for fanning Thelma & Louise, a woman deflated me by saying, "It's unfortunate when women are depicted as losing in the end."

I keep forgetting when it is on.

Jessican Lange might not look like Joan, but she sure has the attitude down. And Susan Sarandon is doing a very good rendition of Bette.

Tomorrow I WILL catch up!

I was never a big Joan Crawford fan, but I am an over the top fan of Bette Davis.

Both actresses are doing a bang-up job.

I've put my distaste for Susan Sarandon aside for a while. There was a time when I adored her.

I've never been a Sarandon fan but her eyes are a good likeness to Bette Davis' bug eyes. I don't think she has captured the voice just yet though.

Lange has been dead on! I forget she's Jessica Lange when I'm watching.

Thanks to technology, I can watch when convenient. I've seen the first two. Neither actor is doing an imitation of the original, but the each captures the essence and that's good enough for me. The guy playing Victor Bouno also got it right. I'm enjoying the behind the scenes look at the movie (which I've seen a few times). The costuming is great! And the cars!

their public images, not their movies, none of which I've seen - strike that, have only seen All About Eve. None of CRAWFORD's, my impression they were tear jerkers. I actually liked the DUNNAWAY Mommie that is so ridiculed. And going into this series what has changed the most was my image of DAVIS, whom I liked but thought of as hard as nails, and this script and SARANDON make her seem way more vulnerable and tractable. So SARANDON has done double duty of making even *herself* at least being able to *portray* being more vulnerable and tractable, haha!1 I never thought of CRAWFORD as sympathetic, which stays the same.

For now, I'm really curious about how the Feud-sters managed to co-star again after what had gone down before.
