A great show, with a great cast. We had the album when I was growing up.

Feuding co-stars reunite for a musical version of Shakespeare's "The Taming of the Shrew." Dir: George Sidney Cast: Kathryn Grayson , Howard Keel , Ann Miller . C-110 mins.

absolutely shines, and steals every single scene she is in. She's good in a lot of things, but in this, the part just seems written for her.

I was fortunate enough to meet Mr. Pan, when I took a transatlantic cruise. He was one of the guest speakers and I ran into him in one of the lounges. He was sitting all alone, at the bar, so my friend and I introduced ourselves. He could not have been more warm and friendly. We spent the next couple of hours listening to wonderful stories about old Hollywood.

He did a lot of work with Fred Astaire.

In the big 3 guys/3 gals dance number late in the show, the guy in the yellow cap is a young Bob Fosse.

'KISS ME KATE is almost, but not quite, a classic cinematic version of the hit Broadway musical. Filmed in 3-D, it was largely released "flat" when the 3-D craze began to wane. Boasting an intelligent and highly amusing book, this tunefest features paralle'

One of her castmates was Bill Brochtrup, who later went on to appear on NCIS.

I went to school with his sister. She was very pretty. But not a pleasant person.
