Related: Culture Forums, Support ForumsThe Peeps Oreo cookies are interesting. I found them at the grocery store.
I love Peeps. Especially stale Peeps. You peeps lovers know what I'm talking about. So I thought I'd try the cookies. They are vanilla cookies with an unnaturally pink filling. The filling mimics the peeps with a gritty, sugary feeling and then...wait for it...the slightly bitter aftertaste that the peeps have as well. I always thought the taste was from the neon food coloring. Somehow the cookies captured it.
I didn't say they were good.

What did he ever do to you?

(12,132 posts)and I'm not generally a fan of non-standard Oreos - I didn't like double stuffs, I didn't like super skinny, I could eat Golden Oreos but they don't make my milk fun so they are lower on the list.
But then I tried the Oreos with chocolate and strawberry creme filling and my world inverted. I loved them so much I felt guilty and couldn't look regular Oreos in the eye...
BUT my wife LOOOOVES Peeps so I will probably look for these to give her a shot at Oreo nirvana like my own chocolate/strawberry fetish.
