(31,112 posts)Was not a "Dead Head" but saw them twice and both times the community feeling was what was special. They all look so harmless now, back then they were "dangerous" rocknroll giants.

Franken and Davis did the same thing at the Warfield.
Love it. Weir's dressing room with the huge star on the door. His only single room too, while Jer and Phil and billy and Mickey share. The guitar is a strat too.
The best thing about the Dead was the humor. They and crew did some hilarious stuff.
