resigned games of Words with Friends

I picked someone to play at random. The person was really, really good, not just playing words. but leaving nothing to build on. I was really struggling to even look competitive. And spending a lot of time looking for plays. I have a contractor and mover lined up, plus a neighborhood yard sale, and even more, so I resigned the games I was playing with that person. I have some other games going on, but we are all just playing for fun.
Anyone else ever feel like you walked into a finals tournament?

And random games people accused me of cheating and I won't stand for that.

It's not that I'm especially smart but I did spend years playing scrabble with my grandma who didn't let me get away with shit. And with WWF once you learn all the little x and q and z words you can clean up pretty well. And your opponent is very good at playing defensively. Never leave a multi-score tile accessible if there's anyway not to. Defense is as important as vocabulary.

Winning was fun to me but I never minded losing because I usually learned something from getting beat but my wife and family and other friends said it was no fun playing against me. :/
