Ravens and crows are protected species. Lots of ravens in my area - one day I had 30 in my yard walking all over like little penguins.

But there are lots of crows. They are not particularly wary of human beings, either. I love to watch them and listen to them communicate with each other.

Russia allows that, but it's illegal in US. You can be arrested in US for just importing a taxidermied raven.
