The DU Lounge
Related: Culture Forums, Support ForumsI love Rachel Maddow, BUT....
If she says---contemporaneous--one more time tonight, I'm going to scream! I stopped counting at 20.
Kind of like this other thing she's started doing with drumming on the desk.
Back to your regular programming.

(7,576 posts)including the Manafort subpoena....if you can't handle don't watch....let the rest of us enjoy the program...after all that Rachel has covered and broken in the past few weeks, I get SICK AND TIRED of the negative comments posted on DU about her.....I take it you know where your channel turn switch is on your remote....use it.

(22,073 posts)And I never miss her. But that doesn't mean she can't get on my nerves sometimes. She's obviously pretty excited about what's going on. Everybody is.
So no need to be nasty.

(28,261 posts)She's the only political TV commentator I regularly listen to any more. With good reason. I can cut her a lot of slack if she overuses a 6-syllable word a few too many times during the course of a hectic show.

(6,797 posts)I counted two, but I was listening to the information she was giving us. I must have missed a few "contemporaneously" outbursts. She is great and can drum table and "contemporaneously" us all she wants.

(58,656 posts)when others might seem to drift off topic, she has researched and put together threads of evidence that continue to unravel the Trump/Russia connection.
Her voice gets a little high and squeaky sometimes when she gets excited, but hey, she's about the sharpest tool on any network right now, and has excellent guests on every night.
Especially when she talks extemporaneously.
