Loved it. A few thoughts.
1. Diana's discovery of the poisoned village may have been the most powerful scene yet in the DCEU.
2. Lucy Davis nearly stole the movie as Etta Candi.
3. I would have enjoyed a movie just following Diana around London.
4. The portion of the movie in Themiscerya bored me.

(63,213 posts)He describes it as a "generally clunky DC comics adaptation."
And frankly I don't care. Gal Godot was the only unambiguous bright spot in Dawn of Justice, and I can't wait to see her unambiguously kicking ass in her own film.
I've heard a few others express your concerns about the Themiscerya scenes, but they love everything with Diana in "the outside world."

(13,305 posts)is that DC shows it's not sexist by making a female fronted movie as clunky, convoluted, heavy handed, and pandering as their male fronted one.
I have kids so I have literally seen every single comic book adaptation made in the past 15 years. DC just cannot seem to get it right in the movies, although I tend to really like their tv universe. The DC movies all forget what makes this stuff great which is fun and not taking itself too seriously.
Also, the whole thing revolved far too heavily on Chris Pine's character which....I don't know sort of negates what seems like it would be the intended purpose of a female superhero movie.
