After living in the same house for 53 years, it was a bitter/sweet procedure, but I had to downsize. Paying two of everything can get darned old after a couple months. Congrats!

On A Friday afternoon I called the bank that the mortgage on the house we were trying to sell and told them I was going to have to surrender the deed. They said they would have someone call me back. The next day I got a call from our realtor that we had an offer at our asking price.

Whew!
