Aside from a difficult morning where my neighbor came screaming at my front door to "shut my dog up" who had been outside for ten minutes doing her morning thang.... the surgery was a success!

They were able to remove most of all the tumor, some of it was near some arteries that they were concerned about so they left a very small amount. Vet says it should be just a quarter size and should not bother her any longer!

She had a small blood pressure spike this afternoon so they medicated her and are just allowing her to rest. Hopefully if no other issues arise tonight I should be able to pick her up tomorrow afternoon. It'll be several weeks before we are able to go on our daily walks again but my Vet says she's a trooper and should have no lasting effects!!

Thank you so very much to everyone who donated and had good thoughts! I am beyond greatful for your help and love!

Bailee is now an indoor dog and is rarely outside.

This morning I was in the shower and I let the girls out for maybe 15 minutes? Before I was even dried off my door bell was ringing furiously. Today is trash day so I assume the dogs were barking at the trash people. My neighbor was very aggressive with me and upset that the barking woke her up. I felt awful and immediately corralled them indoors.

I live in a condo with a very small patio backyard... the spaces between our homes is very small. I usually walk my dogs but haven't been able to do recently with Bailee's pain and the horrible hot weather we've been having recently.

I am a very quiet person and completely understand issues with noise and small living quarters. I don't know what to do except to make sure there is no barking at early hours. I am hoping this does not become an issue moving forward.

My dogs mean the world to me and I would really hate it if I had to do something drastic ( like a bark collar)

Right?

I was very shocked by her reaction to be honest.

I plan on watching these girls like a hawk from now on. I hate confrontation.
