What a time to be alive.

Smothering Nutella over your pasta is a meal no longer relegated to the realms of hedonistic late night munchie jaunts in the privacy of my own kitchen (don't look at me).

An Australian restaurant has decided this is a delicacy the world needs, nay, deserves, so they're serving up Nutella pasta in celebration of World Pasta Day (apparently a thing) on Oct. 25.

Italian restaurant Carosello in Moonee Ponds, Victoria is the brains behind this decadent and somewhat polarising confection, available Oct. 24-29.

5. The stuff from italy is better

They don't eat the garbage we do here. It is less sweet and more intense on both chocolate and hazelnut

2. Ick... pasta and Nutella? That's enough to make me gag.

It's bad enough to smear a little on toast or a sliver of apple, but to drown pasta in Nutella and say it's edible is a stretch. Sorry, not sorry, no, I just can't eat the stuff. Sure, originally, I wanted to like it, it looks yummy, but it tastes like eating cocoa flavored Crisco.

3. There are some good cocoa hazelnut butters but American Nutella is junk IMO

Even the imported version of Nutella from Italy is 55% sugar but uses more real nuts at least

4. Why don't they pile on Vegemite too?

As long as they are making a gross dish that practically no one would eat, they might as well boil the pasta in pickle juice too.
