Anyone know of a radio station that a plays 70's hits??? Used to listen to one in Vancouver BC

but they changed the format to religious I think......anyway it's not on the air any longer. Having one heck of a time to find a good 70's station. We have a Sonos speaker and it can get ANY CHANNEL, ANY TYPE OF MUSIC but, it's just so exhausting going down the line trying to find one we like. So, if any of you have any favorites I'd sure love to hear of them. Thanks.

Just make a station based on one of your favorite artists (James Taylor, Joni Mitchell, The Bay City Rollers, Gary Glitter, etc.) and kick back. Upvote songs you really like when they play and downvote ones you don't, so you won't hear them again.

It'll cost you at least 12 bucks a month (plus the radio), but you'll get your choices:

And, you can use it in the car.

I swear they play the same 25 songs over and over and over and over again. I swear if I hear "Free Fallin'" one more fucking time I'm going to rip the stereo out of the dash. Tom DID have other songs, you know.

Danny Bonaduce's show is entertaining, though. That's the only reason I listen and endure their shitty playlist.

But it's the major station in the area I think, I like Bellingham 92.9 and the newer 98.9 in Seattle.

But I have over 1000 albums and a very nice system, been collecting since the 70's.

It doesn't always have the best reception, depending on where you are around the Sound. And they still tend to overwork the same songs. But they will throw in a deep cut every now and then.

Jack FM, 96.5, is pretty good if you don't care about contests, gonzo morning shows, and the like. Just a lot of older songs from all different genres of pop/rock.

Rotator, nice antenna and a modded Sansui TU-9900 and a TU-X701.

Reception?, not a problem.

There once was a time when I would have killed to have the kind of antennage you have. Sadly, radio around the world is a vast wasteland now, ruined by corporate consolidation and made nearly obsolete by the Internet.

17 years in bush Alaska with no radio, I had withdrawals.

I listen to classical and jazz now mostly, there are still great stations out there to find, I'm just old fashioned I guess as I didn't jump on the digital bandwagon.

With 1000 albums I don't have to, I just figure if I throw it on the TT I just listened to it anyway, I have a Nak CR-7A to make tapes for my car and that's enough for me.

If it sounds good it is good.

Like me, they were sick of the local oldies station playing the same songs over and over again.

over-the-air stinks anymore.

Pretty much anything you can think of on the internet. I love the radio - we have about a dozen stations around the world set.

If you do, it comes with a free streaming music service (no ads). I'm sure you could find a 70s station on there.

I don't use Pandora or Spotify, but I think they have a free tier (with ads) that would have it if you're not willing to pay.

AMazon has a mobile app so I listen through my phone.

it only plays one song and stops so I had to click after every song (Using a Chromebox and Chrome browser), I searched for a solution to this without
buying the pay service but found none that worked. I still use Spotify sometimes but mostly Accuradio or Tunein. I had Sirius/XM for years but got tired
of paying,,,poor, fixed income.
