Does anyone recognize this painting or signature?

We bought a nice Danish mid century modern chair from someone ages ago and she gave us this print and some glass items as well and we've had it hanging in our house for years and always wondered who it was, where it was, etc. It's a numbered print so I thought it might be a "known" painting and I finally (after 12 years or so) got around to taking a picture of it so I could ask around. Google reverse image search didn't help (unless I did it wrong). Here's the painting and the artist signature:

Look familiar to anyone?

Thanks, and I'll hang up and listen

The frame has some paper covering the back with a sort of metal label on it saying Property of: Sutton and Company Item No 600.
It never occurred to me to take it out and check the back! It says Lander 1434, which I guess is the artist.

I swear I had the right address, and hell if I can find it now!!!!

If you give them the painter and number, they should be able to give you some history.

Because this is a decorator's supply, I would not get my hopes up too high. I'd look at the '89/275' and see if it's in pencil or if it's printed onto the board.

I have a feeling we're looking at less than $200.

No doubt it's nothing special, we were just curious. The writing looks to be in pencil. If I find anything out I'll be sure to post here.

thanks for all of your help Marble Falls. Have a great day.

... is it on paper or board. Paper is a good thing. Can you see a bend in the paper that shows what kind of press it was on?

It has a lot of depth when you see it in person. It's in our bedroom now and it's almost like looking out a window the buildings are so well defined (don't know the art term for it!).

The artwork in the rest of the house is more abstract (a couple of Kandinsky prints, some B&W shots from a photographer friend of ours) so this one is a nice change.
Do you have any of yours online?

Wish I could tell you it's a long lost master. Guess you'll need to keep looking for that joyous news.

I was more curious as to who the artist was, where the scene was. Of course, a lost master would be a bonus!

Judging by a couple of examples on a quick search online. The signature matches. I guess I know what I'll be researching tonight! I'll report back.
Thank you!!

Not only because the signiture matches but also his style of painting. I went to the link and could spot several without seeing the artist's name or signature.
