She totally had him over a proverbial barrel and gave him little choice but to do things her way or else. Normally I would not care anything about this, but Scientology gives this particular celebrity divorce a whole different angle. What a smart girl she is. She played this just right and who can blame her. She was about to lose her daughter to this deeply secretive weirdo cult that sends small children off on some ship called Sea Org. It's just scary to think where that child might have been in 10 years had they remained married and he had control over her. Look at those kids he adopted. They are completely indoctrinated, but then my belief is that Nicole Kidman is not as strong willed as the latest ex-Mrs. Cruise. Anyway, another child saved from freakdom.

stated that when Katie Holms was finished telling her side of the story, that they would come out with the "truth".

Then it seemed it was just a matter of hours later it was announced that they settled.

Indeed she has the goods on them and it wouldn't have been pretty on the scifi cult.

It’s clear that she was afraid of the Church of Scientology; why else would she plan it out so carefully? Katie had to have some help, though; her dad is a high-powered divorce lawyer who probably saw this coming. Steve Hassan’s new book, “Freedom Of Mind” has a pretty good explanation of how to help someone get out of a cult: http://www.freedomofmind.com/
