(23,796 posts)I was just watching The Gay Divorcee, and among other delights, found the actor playing the waiter amusing. His name is Eric Blore, and he just strolled out onto the veranda in High Matrimony a decade later as Monty Wooley's valet. Sadly, the valet is about to snuff it, setting up the conceit of the movie, but Mr. Blore got an unexpected back to back. Let's hear it for the character actors!

(10,726 posts)isn't a big sports fan. I have no qualms with those that are, but I'm not big into it, and he isn't either. We ARE both (!) very much looking forward to tonight's offering on 'Downton Abbey' though! We're both hooked!!
