Another stellar day for TCM's Oscar coverage, California style. Today actually focuses close to Oscar's home, Hollywood. Fighting for stardom past and present, the young and the old are ready for their closeup!

Actually Gloria Swanson may be the only Hollywood cautionary tale NOT on today's roster. Be sure to check out the trailer for 1967's Divorce American Style -- it's not the original. Someone made a trailer for it in today's more snappy style. It's rather good! And I even found a clip from the 1940 Cavalcade of Academy Awards. YouTube is a wonder of the Internet world.
