TCM Schedule for Tuesday, November 28: The Hollywood Blacklist

You owe it to yourself to see The Front, an entertaining, infuriating, devastating look at how actors and writers dealt with the blacklist. Bear in mind that real-life incidents are incorporated into the story, and that a number of blacklisted artists are right there in the project.

In the daytime there's a tribute to director Norman Z. McLeod, though it is not his birthday today.

This is an incredible satirical look at both Hollywood and the mortuary business.

A stand out is Rod Steiger as Mr. Joyboy, the mortuary's cosmetologist. Of course, Jonathan Winters is in over the top form.

Recommended.
